The research conducted at the Chair of Logistics Management focuses on Operations Research models and methods to analyze and solve problems in
logistics, transport, and production. We employ exact and heuristic optimization to provide decision support. Large-scale problems frequently
require decomposition methods, constituting a main research topic of the chair. Our methodological and algorithmic solutions are applicable to a
variety of fields, including transport planning, network design, warehouse planning, cutting and packing, and production planning.
